We quickly discovered Pisac is easily Peru&#8217;s best kept secret that deserved more attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More about Pisac, a town and ruin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/P%C3%ADsac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pisac<\/a> is a small town in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sacred_Valley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sacred Valley<\/a> of the Incas in Peru, located approximately 20 miles from Cusco. The town is best known for its impressive Incan ruins, colorful market, and stunning mountain scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ruins of Pisac are a testament to the impressive engineering skills of the Incan people. The site is home to a network of terraces, buildings, and fortifications that were used for both agricultural and defensive purposes. The most impressive feature of the site is the agricultural terraces, which are still in use today for farming. The market is a great place to find local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. It&#8217;s also a great place to try traditional Peruvian foods such as empanadas and chicha, a fermented corn drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aside from the ruins and market, Pisac is also a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts. There are many hiking trails in the area, including a popular route that takes visitors to the top of the nearby Pisac mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, Pisac is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Peru. Although it wasn\u2019t shot with a travel Vlog in mind, <a href=\"https:\/\/lovetwotravel.com\/index.php\/2023\/02\/18\/machu-picchu-ruins-sacred-valley-peru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the amazing scenes and breathtaking beauty<\/a> compelled us to venture into the crazy world of YouTube vlogging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone has those stories of things they would do differently and Pisac would definitely be one of those for our trip to Peru. Between under-budgeting time spent at the ruin to forgetting the travel basics of water and additional batteries, Pisac was something of a missed opportunity. We knowingly gave up the opportunity of visiting the famous market found in the town of Pisac, but it doesn&#8217;t quite sting as much as limiting the time we had to explore this incredible ruin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As always, if you like this video, please share it with your friends and family.
