How could it not be? The valley is home to numerous Inca ruins, including the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, which is believed to have been built to protect against invading forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Machu_Picchu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Machu Picchu<\/a> is considered one of the seven wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The incredible ruins offer visitors a glimpse into the engineering prowess of the Inca civilization, with impressive stone structures that have stood the test of time for over 500 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often overlooked, Pisac is another fascinating destination located in the Sacred Valley. Home to an impressive Inca fortress and popular market filled with vendors selling handmade textiles, ceramics, and other traditional Peruvian goods. The fortress offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and is a testament to the military might of the Inca civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wrapped up our time in Peru visiting Rainbow Mountain, or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vinicunca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vinicunca<\/a>. Located to the southeast of the city of Cusco, our two-hour drive started before dawn to explore the natural formation of colored stripes that give it the name of Rainbow Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Behind the scenes (possible spoilers)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If this is your first time reading one a closer look at one of our YouTube videos, watch the video before reading any further. There may be possible spoilers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the first travel adventure we considered posting on YouTube. Although it wasn&#8217;t shot with a travel Vlog in mind, the amazing scenes and breathtaking beauty compelled us to venture into the crazy world of YouTube vlogging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with many travel adventures, the best things just fell into place. Looking back and watching the video, it would seem obvious not to have our tour guide JJ take us around Machu Picchu, but we came very close to not having him along. He originally approached us at the entrance of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ollantaytambo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ollantaytambo<\/a> and we nearly said no!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re so glad we eventually said yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, if you like this video, please share it with your friends and family.
