What is the Burj Al Arab?

The Burj Al Arab is undoubtedly one of the most iconic landmarks in the United Arab Emirates. A luxurious hotel that located on an artificial island which only can be reached using a private bridge. There are several reasons why one should visit the Burj Al Arab, and in this essay, we will highlight a few of them.

Reportedly one of the most expensive hotels in the world, it boasts extravagant features such as its underwater restaurant and its helipad, which has hosted several events in the past. As we found out, visiting the Burj Al Arab is an opportunity to indulge in luxury and to experience how the other half lives.

Yes, we did literally stumble across the Burj Al Arab tours! Wendy’s research and planning for our vacation is always incredible. If you haven’t checked out some of her planning guides, you should they can turn a holiday into a travel adventure!

As mentioned in other posts, this trip was the first travel adventure we knew would make it onto YouTube. While there aren’t as many moments of speaking to the camera as a modern travel Vlog, even one would’ve been more than seen in any prior trips. And yes, we do plan on publishing past travel adventures, 1080p and all!

Laurence spilled his Arabic coffee on the beautiful beige carpet, and no, they didn’t kick us out then and there.

What wasn’t seen in the video were two pretty disruptive members of the tour. They spoiled many a shot for us and others by walking right into a scene. A great example of this; Everyone had the opportunity to have their pictures taken on the beautiful golden staircase seen in both the experience suite as well as the Royal Suite. They walked past a person having their picture taken there. We kid you not.

The tour guide became visibly upset when he was told they were searching through drawers and moving furniture in the queen’s bathroom. This came to head when they accidently hit someone in the face while aggressively taking a picture with their smartphone. The Tour Guide used the opportunity to tell them off about their overall behavior and made them apologize.

Quite the moment!
