This is day one of discovering Dubai on our big travel adventure.

It could be considered on the of the biggest travel adventures we’ve ever undertaken. Traveling over 21,000 miles, visiting 4 countries over two very different climates, Wendy and I explored Dubai, Abi Dhabi, Maldives and Germany.

It was as exhilarating as it sounds!

We saved some pennies and found a great deal on business class tickets flying Lufthansa, so the traveling itself would be easier. But we’re not fans of ‘rushing’ through our destination, so there was a serious concern about being able to see everything we wanted to see.

Then there was the heat. Even going in Dubai’s winter, it was still expected to be hot!

More about Dubai

Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates known for its luxurious architecture, vibrant nightlife, and stunning desert landscapes. It has become one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors each year.

In recent years, Dubai has become a hub for adventure tourism. Activities such as desert safaris, hot air balloon rides, and skydiving have become increasingly popular among visitors.

Another factor that makes Dubai a prime tourist destination is its warm climate. With sunny skies and warm temperatures all year round, it’s the perfect location for those seeking a break from colder climates. The city also boasts a range of stunning beaches, including Jumeirah Beach and the Palm Jumeirah.

One of the main reasons for Dubai’s popularity among tourists is its vast array of attractions. From the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, the luxurious Burj Al Arab Hotel, to the luxurious shopping destinations like the Dubai Mall, there’s no shortage of activities for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, Dubai is home to a range of cultural and historical sites, including the Dubai Museum and the Jumeirah Mosque.

Behind the scenes (possible spoilers)

As mentioned in other posts, this trip was the first travel adventure we knew would make it onto YouTube. While there aren’t as many moments of speaking to the camera as a modern travel Vlog, even one would’ve been more than seen in any prior trips. And yes, we do plan on publishing past travel adventures, 1080p and all!

A lot of our research about Dubai warned about public affection, dressing modestly and being careful where you pointed your camera. While we’ll address the first two in an upcoming video, the latter led to our cameras being put away when they normally wouldn’t. This resulted in many incredible scenes and experiences weren’t captured.

Day one of discovering Dubai on our big travel adventure was definitely a learning experience.

One thing we thought was captured but nowhere to be found when the footage was reviewed latter, the tram ride from the arrival gate to immigration. It appears I confused the on and off button when recording, losing an incredible moment.

As always, if you like this video, please share it with your friends and family. Needless to say, the more popular the videos and channel become allows for even more exciting travel videos! Let everyone know they should subscribe and set the alert to be notified when a new video is posted.
